Breathe Your Dreams was an idea that came from an Internet Marketing summit with Tom Hua in 2014 on the Gold Coast. Tom Hua told us to do more than “live your dreams! You must breathe your dreams”. I grabbed that as a tagline with the idea to use that as one of two directions my Internet Marketing journey would follow.

The idea was to help other people with programs and courses and training on how they could Breathe Your Dreams.

Now my story looks that way when I look back at the outcomes. I live in Australia in a far safer and secure place than where I grew up in South Africa. Was it a dream to settle in Australia – no not really but it was a dream to live in a safe and secure place. And as life changed in South Africa in the 1980s, action was needed to change and I did – action and not dreams.

And that is the ultimate theme behind Breathe Your Dreams – set some targets and get there by taking action. I watched my father struggle with illness after illness after he retired after a full working life.  He did not get the retirement of his dreams as his health got in the way. I set up the dream of stopping work early enough so I could enjoy my retirement. I did that and as I look back on 20 years post-retirement from full time work and I have just reached the age my father was when he hit his second bout with cancer.

That is what Breathe Your Dreams is about.

That dream for 2014 is still a dream – the taking action to help others is still to come. It needs action. I know I have inspired very many people through my cycling and orchid hunting and nature photography. Maybe that is action enough.
